Creative Piano Lessons in Your Home
Let piano lessons come to you!
In-home and online piano lessons are a great way to prioritize music while saving a bit of your sanity!
My Approach
Piano lessons should be about you
Personalized curriculum is designed with your goals in mind. I introduce a wide range of musical genres to help students discover the music they love.
Piano lessons should be creative
Music making is a creative outlet. From the very first lesson I get students improvising and creating their own music.
Piano lessons should be fun!
We retain more and are much more motivated when we’re having fun. I'll create a enjoyable and effective learning environment for every student.

Yes! While not a requirement for every student (and not always the best fit for every student), I am happy to prepare students for exams through ABRSM or the Royal Conservatory or Music, and well as festivals through the California Association of Professional Music Teachers and the Music Teacher’s National Association.

An early start can be so beneficial, and I take piano students as young as 3 for either private or small group lessons.
We will begin with age appropriate activities, exploration at the piano, and simple folk tunes. Students will begin Suzuki repertoire when they are ready. Reading music is delayed until students are learning to read language, and children who already understand basic patterns at the piano often pick this skill up quickly.

Piano lessons are a well-rounded exploration of all music. In addition to technique and repertoire, lessons include:
improvisation and composition
theory games and activities
listening and movement activities

Nope! While most students benefit from a wide variety of repertoire from different genres, including standard classical repertoire, if you’re more interested in learning modern, popular styles of music over Beethoven, then that’s what we can focus on.

While everyone has a regular lesson time, and my hope if that students will be able to attend that time most weeks, I understand that sports are important and practice and game schedules can be unpredictable. I do my best to reschedule lessons when we can and provide online and video lessons as needed.
