Creative Piano Lessons in Your Home
Let piano lessons come to you!
In-home and online piano lessons are a great way to prioritize music while saving a bit of your sanity!
My Approach
Early Start
I offer private lessons for children as young as 3 (but it’s never too late to start!). Starting music lessons early is a great way to set children up for success in music, school, and life. Lessons are full of play and focus on building musical foundations, training the ears, and exploring piano technique. Suzuki repertoire and music reading are introduced as students are ready
Piano lessons should be creative
Music making is a creative outlet. From the very first lesson I get students improvising and creating their own music. We do a variety of composition projects throughout the year.
Piano lessons should be fun!
We retain more and are much more motivated when we’re having fun. I'll create an enjoyable and effective learning environment for every student by including a variety of games and activities away from the piano.
What Students and Parents are Saying
"Thank you for being a wonderful piano teacher. You make piano fun!
"We are so happy to have found a great teacher who can come to us!”

Yes! While not a requirement for every student (and not always the best fit for every student), I am happy to prepare students for exams through ABRSM or the Royal Conservatory or Music, as well as festivals through the California Association of Professional Music Teachers and the Music Teacher’s National Association.

While everyone has a regular lesson time, and my hope is that students will be able to attend that time most weeks, I understand that sports are important and practice and game schedules can be unpredictable. I do my best to reschedule lessons when we can and provide online and video lessons as needed.
